William Frick<\/strong> is an attorney based in Seattle, Washington.<\/p>\nHe grew up in Texas, Indiana, and the Hawaiian Islands.<\/p>\n
After high school he travelled extensively and then served three years in the US Marine Corps, during which time he\u00a0was stationed in an assortment of locations\u00a0– from Japan to the Pentagon. In\u00a0his last year of service\u00a0he began attending college in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n
After leaving the Marine Corps, he spent eight years\u00a0working in various positions at\u00a0MCI Telecommunications in Washington, DC. \u00a0During this period\u00a0he earned a\u00a0Bachelor of Arts in\u00a0History, a Masters of Arts in\u00a0International Studies, and a Juris Doctorate, from\u00a0The George Washington University.<\/p>\n
After law school he practiced\u00a0in the area of\u00a0Intellectual\u00a0Property with the New York City entertainment law firm, Jacobson &\u00a0Colfin, and then spent a year on a\u00a0successful litigation project in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n
He later\u00a0worked as\u00a0in-house counsel, as well as\u00a0an\u00a0aviation history\u00a0researcher, for the software\u00a0gaming company\u00a0Dynamix, Inc.<\/em> in Eugene, Oregon, a subsidiary\u00a0of\u00a0Sierra On-Line<\/em> in Seattle.<\/p>\nIn 1996 he began practicing US Immigration Law as the Immigration Specialist for faculty and students at\u00a0The Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology (now part of the Oregon Health and Science University) in Portland, Oregon.<\/p>\n
Since 1997 the focus of his law practice has been US Immigration Law. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts throughout the United States and represents clients\u00a0before the International Criminal Court at The Hague, Netherlands.

Emilia Liu<\/strong> is an attorney licensed in Washington state, with a background in Chinese law.<\/span><\/p>\nPrior to joining Law Office of William Frick, Emilia worked at a Bellevue immigration firm focusing on EB-5 cases, advising foreign investors and companies on immigration options.<\/p>\n
She earned her J.D. from Seattle University and LLB from Southwest University in China. During law school she interned at Refugee Women\u2019s Alliance, and International Commission of Jurists – Kenya Section where she worked on international human rights cases.<\/p>\n
Emilia is a native Mandarin speaker and moved from China to Seattle in 2016.<\/p>\n
